🏆 GW25 & 26 FPL Draft Zone - Weekly Brief 🏆

🚨 The "It’s Not a Double, But It Kind Of Is" Gameweek

Listen closely: Gameweek 25 and 26 is NOT a double gameweek. But, because there’s only one day between them, IT KIND OF IS. And after Arsenal’s Carabao Cup win over Chelsea, Gameweek 26 ACTUALLY is a double for the Gunners AND Wolves. So hang on - does that makes it a triple gameweek for them? HELP. ME.

📈 Waiver Wire Gold: Players to Snatch Now

If you want to lord it over your rival managers, these are the names to look for on the waiver wire:

Casimiro (Man Utd): Believe it or not, he is the 8th highest scoring midfielder in FPL - insane. With United on a three-game winning streak under Michael Carrick, he’s a up against Spurs and West Ham - two teams he’s already returned against this season.

Noni Madueke (Arsenal): With Bukayo Saka an injury doubt, Madueke is across half of Arsenal’s set pieces, and I don’t know if you’ve heard, but they’re quite good at them. He’s also just delivered a massive 14-point return.

Nordi Mukiele (Sunderland): Don’t be a snob about the Black Cats; Mukiele is the 6th highest scoring defender in the game and just bagged a clean sheet and a third assist in as many matches. Arsenal and Liverpool next? BRING IT ON.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): Newcastle are not very good at the moment but Harvey Barnes loves a game against Brentford, and that’s who the Toon are up against in Gameweek 25. Can he add to his seven attacking returns in 11 games against the Bees?

Piero Hincapié (Arsenal): A solid bet for a clean sheet against Sunderland or Brentford, though he might share minutes with Riccardo Calafiori.

🤡 The "Don't Be a Fool" Section

We try to find value in every team, but let's be real about Burnley. They were hammered by Sunderland, they’re bottom for XGC, second bottom for actual goals conceded, bottom for XG, third bottom for actual goals scored and they’ve not won a match since Gameweek 9. This is not exactly breaking news, but avoid the Clarets at all costs.

🤝 The Trade Room: Who To Bring In, & Who To Move Out?

Kai Havertz (Arsenal): With Mikel Merino out for the season, Havertz’s versatility makes him an even stronger draft option - and the hero of Arsenal’s Carabao Cup semi-final looks like he’s going to be a first-team regular soon. If you can strike a trade for him, do the deed.

Jørgen Strand Larsen (Crystal Palace): He’s just joined Palace from Wolves and some managers might be put off by his awful record this season AND the increased competition with JP Mateta. But JSL got 14 goals in his debut season and we’re backing him to find his feet again at Selhurst Park. Get him in if you can!

Benjamin Šeško (Man Utd): He hasn't started under Carrick yet, but he’s scored three goals in his last three appearances so now might be the time to throw a few eggs in the Šeško basket.
